The continued U.S. firing of deadly Predator drones has sparked a national outrage in Pakistan. Thousands of people have joined forces to block all U.S./NATO supplies going in and out of Afghanistan for the past week. More than 1,500 loaded trucks are now blocked and unable to move. In 2012 U.S./NATO supplies were blocked for 7 months following similar protests.
The International Action Center urges antiwar and solidarity forces, youth, Students and workers to join hands with Pakistani forces in the U.S. to demand: STOP ALL U.S. DRONE ATTACKS.
JOIN THE PROTEST AT UNITED NATION AGAINST ILLEGAL DEADLY DRONES STRIKES IN PAKISTAN.
FRIDAY NOVEMBER 29TH 2013, 3PM TO 5PM
Pakistan-USA Freedom Forum (PUFF), International Action Center (IAC) and Pakistanis living abroad are requesting all Pakistani political parties with chapters in the USA and people of conscience to join the protest against illegal killer DRONES in Pakistan and anywhere in the world.
Amnesty international has just published a report in which it states: ‘’The USA has carried out unlawful killings in Pakistan through DRONE attacks. Some of which could even amount to war crimes.” An International Conference called by CODE PINK and the US Congress held hearings on the drone attacks. All DRONES illegally kill civilians including innocent women and children. The USA never took responsibility.
The latest DRONE attack took place in Khyber Pakhtun Khwa (KPK) Hungo District, in a civilian populated city miles inside Pakistan territory. This was a clear violation of Pakistani sovereignty and the United Nation Charter. Dr. Imran Khan, Chairman of the Pakistan Tahreekay Insaf (PTI), and its coalition political parties, which form the regional government in KPK, called for protests in Pakistan. Thousands of people have blocked highways in Pakistan to STOP NATO SUPPLIES going to Afghanistan since the superpower does not listen. This was one of the biggest protests in Pakistan against the illegal killer DRONES.
Please join us for PEACE and RESPECT of the United Nation Charters Resolutions, and for the release of Dr. Affia Siddiqui, Lynne Stewart, Mumia Abu Jamal, Leonard Peltier and all illegal prisoners and send a clear massage against torture in GITMO, and for the release of all people abducted by the CIA or Pakistan Army.
